Writing for Substack summer session - July 2023
Launch your Substack, reach new readers, and write something you love
Hello, writers. If you want to share your writing and reach new readers, Substack is THE place to be. The summer session of my four-week course, Writing for Substack, begins July 9th.
In this course, I’ll walk you through every aspect of setting up your Substack, writing great posts, and growing your audience. You’ll come up with a title and URL (they’re not the same!), write your longline and your About page, set a writing and publishing schedule, write several new posts, get feedback on your writing from me (optional), and learn how to make the powerful Substack growth engine work for you. We’ll also talk about how you can earn money for your writing on Substack, serialize fiction and memoir, and more.
Course dates: July 9 - August 6. (There are no live sessions. New lessons and assignments unlock each week.)

What students are saying:
Michelle Richmond's "Writing for Substack" course is superb. I had tons of ideas but zero structure in my head, and Michelle was an excellent guide...The lessons are very well structured, informative, easy to follow, and packed with excellent advice (that you don't get anywhere else) on writing in general and writing for Substack specifically. Plus, I have found Michelle to be extremely supportive, kind, welcoming, and inspiring. I can't recommend this course enough! Andres Celati, creator of The Vinyl Room
