Showing Up to Write on the Days When You Don't Feel Inspired

It would be great if we all had a muse sitting on our shoulder, whispering story ideas and plot points and beautiful sentences into our ear. Some days, the muse does show up. But most of the time, we have to rely on something other than divine inspiration to get started.
